Help Feed Voters on Election Day

Four years ago, The Migrant Kitchen Initiative launched Feed The Polls in partnership with Infatuation to ensure that food insecurity does not prevent anyone from voting. Thanks to your help, we provided over 40,000 meals to voters waiting in line at polling sites across the US.

Access to food continues to be a challenge for over 42 million Americans and there has been a concerted effort by local and state officials to reinforce food insecurity as a barrier to voting.

With the presidential elections on the horizon, and 53.7% of American adults unable to afford enough food, the majority of whom are Black or Hispanic, we will provide free meals at polling sites across the country, to ensure that food insecurity does not prevent voters from making their voices heard.

We need your help! $10 can provide a meal to someone waiting in line to vote and with your support, we can remind our country that everyone has the right to participate in our democracy regardless of socioeconomic status, race, or access to food.
