Over 690 million people went hungry in 2020

Why Food

It is almost impossible to focus on the many challenges life presents when one of those obstacles is determining where your next meal is coming from.

WHO reports that throughout the globe, nearly 690 million people went hungry in 2020. The pandemic has only worsened the problem. Due to the economic recession caused by COVID-19, an estimated 132 million additional people may go hungry in 2021 as a result.

Food insecurity is the seed to a variety of health, economic and social issues. By tackling food insecurity first and foremost, we can not only feed those in need but also effectively reduce the amount of catastrophes that spawn as a direct result of the hunger crisis.
