Legacy Giving
Ways to Give
A Gift In Your Will
Whether you designate a specific amount or leave a percentage of your estate, your legacy gift will empower The Migrant Kitchen Initiative’s continued work.
Non-Cash Assets
Donating certain non-cash assets like real estate can provide significant tax benefits while advancing our mission.
Beneficiary Designations
Your retirement plans, life insurance policies, and annuities can all help bring food to communities in need.
Qualified Charitable Distributions
If you are 70½ or older, you can give up to $100,000 per year from your IRA without any income tax implications.
We want to provide the best support for you. Please contact us with any questions you may have. Also, kindly let us know if you have already included The Migrant Kitchen Initiative in your will or estate plan!
It is the general policy of The Migrant Kitchen Initiative that all gifts shall be presumed to be for all charitable purposes (i.e. unrestricted) unless there is an explicit restriction. This allows the organization to apply the funds to the most pressing needs at the time of funding. The Migrant Kitchen Initiative gift acceptance policy can be found here.
